I am Christoph Hering, Director of the Innovation Center at the German Chamber of Commerce in China (AHK Greater China), based in Guangzhou. With over a decade of experience in lean startups and international business, I am passionate about bridging German and Chinese innovation ecosystems. At the AHK Greater China, we support German companies and their partners in discovering, exploring, and thriving within the Chinese innovation ecosystem. This includes implementing corporate innovation, designing startup competitions, hackathons, and market studies, as well as fostering mentorship through our AHK Innovators Club. Why? To spark cross-border collaborations between Germany and China and towards building a vibrant community of innovators in China.
